Challenge #437 - One Layer Card - Flowers

 Hey LIMettes!


Wow! We had some wonderful entries into our last challenge and all of that chocolate made us really peckish. 😉 Thank you so much for joining us in our Birthday celebrations which continue today with that love it or hate it challenge, the good old One Layer Card.

Challenge #436 - Colour - Chocolate

 Hey LIMettes!

This month we are 10 !!!!  🎈🎉🎊🎁🍰💃 Yay! Let's party!


As it's our birthday we really wanted to receive some chocolates, but we'll have to make do with a colour challenge of CHOCOLATE instead.  



There's lots of scope - milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or add in another colour e.g. mint chocolate, chocolate caramel, chocolate strawberry cream etc, etc,  
(But make sure that the main colour is chocolate with only a 'hint' of any other colour you use) 
You could even make your image a box of chocs or a bar of choc as long as they are chocolate coloured. Just get creative and spoil us;-)

We are thrilled and delighted that Chrissie and Mandi, the wonderful and extremely talented founders of this challenge, have agreed to come back to join us for these 10th birthday celebrations.  Here are the gorgeous cards they made: 


In some way it seems like only yesterday, that I was heading over the the Isle of Wight to meet Mandi in order to come up with the concept for Less is More... and what fun we had chatting through our ideas for it. Not only was a succesful blog challenge established, but a wonderful crafting community was also formed ( I have so many real and virtual friends whom I have met through this challenge) and Mandi and I have a lasting friendship too!
Thanks so much to Sharon and the team for keeping it going for all this time!
What a great bunch of designers!

Mandi here! Many of you may not remember me. I can hardly believe it’s been 10 years since we started! 
The vague idea I had in my head, then getting in touch with Chrissie (as I was great admirer of her work) seems like only yesterday. 
We met and created Less is More (not to mention forming a special friendship). 
We had no idea it would become so popular and so quickly. Despite many challenge blogs all over the globe we bought a different angle by being one of the first clean and simple genres and, we felt it important to comment on every single entry each week. We were quite strict that our rules of ‘clean space’ were being adhered to!
I regrettably had to leave LIM due to my newly acquired wedding business taking all my time.

Working with Chrissie on LIM is a memory I will cherish always. 
It’s lovely to pop back and be part of this special birthday.
