Showcase # 316 - Theme

Hi there LIMettes it's time for our weekly ShowCASe post.

We had another hard task this week looking through all your stunning takes on the challenge in our gallery. There were some amazing entries yet again and you all deserve a big pat on the back! It would be super if we could highlight you all, but we do have to narrow the showcase down.

 So here we go with our choices, in order of entry for

Not only is Kathy's colour combo a great one, her fantastic design characterises exactly what this challenge loves....a gorgeous clean a simple design, a simple focal point and lots of lovely white space.

 

Helen

Using a sight test chart for inspiration was a brilliant idea for our alphabet challenge.  Helen's clean lines and a simple combo of black, white and kraft just works perfectly.

Mac

We all loved this creative interpretation of our challenge...the empowering sentiment, the masked text on the bodice and the delicate pink of the die cut letters.  Just beautiful, Mac!

ShowCASe #314 - Colour

Hi there LIMettes it's time for our weekly ShowCASe post.
We had such a super turn-out for our first week of birthday celebrations! 
Thank you all so much for joining in & helping us start the celebrations off. 

As this is our birthday month we will be picking a winner each week, as well as the showcase entries. We'll be announcing all the winners together at the end of the celebrations so please
pop back in early March to see if you are one of our lucky winners.

But to the showcase!

It's never an easy job to select our favourites but we do love seeing 

all your stunning takes on the challenge in our gallery each week.

So here goes with our choices, in order of entry for

CAS at it's best. This design has kept to a minimum number of elements and incorporated the required colour into the enamel dots only. We loved the beautiful crisp and clean layout with the fun quotation die cuts. A terrific card for the guy in your life!

Wendy

We were wowed by the eye-catching and vibrant citrus colours on this card. There is a fabulous amount of detail in this lovely design. The discrete stitched dies and smooth dots add texture and the raised flower heads give dimension. Something for everyone here!

Jo Jo

Techniques abound in this gorgeous card and it had us all swooning. From the water coloured and emboss resist background, through the shimmery die-cuts to the simplistic yet elegant design, this is such a stunning, beautiful and extremely CAS card.

Mac Mable

Here the opulent and vibrant colours with that richness that the gold detail adds really caught our eyes. Those colourful and modern geometric shapes add a stunning contrast to the delicate treatment on the sentiment.
