Here are two of my favourite techniques combined...emboss resist and inlaid die cuts.
Stamp from The Rubber Stamp Gallery, clear embossed and inked with Rich Razzleberry,
Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick, Festive Berries and Ripe Persimmon inks
using sponge daubers, over stamped with the teazel image and some grunge dots
in Aged Mahogany ink. Dies from MFT (scalloped edge) and Poppy Stamps (thank you).
Winnie & Walter: Multi Facetted stamped with Versamark then heat embossed using
Hero Arts white embossing powder before inking and blending with distress inks;
Spun sugar, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries and Seedless Preserves.
The sentiments are from Hero Arts Stamp and Cut birthday set
with Doodlebug sequins to accent.
Lots of texture in this card, it uses linen texture cardstock.
Inked some MFT splatters over it, then I cut out the centre rectangle
with a stitched die and then the Happy word, which I raised up
with several extra die cuts.
On a panel of white cardstock I stamped the balloon from Wplus9 Whole Lotta Happy in three different colours and then masked off one of them before
stamping the strings. I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Besotted
on a strip of white cardstock and heat embossed this with clear powder.
The white strip was matted on a strip of dark purple cardstock before
adhering to the panel, and the panel was then adhered to the base
on 3D foam strips. I love this perfectly round balloon stamp and
in these colours they really remind me of little cranberries and blueberries!
Hopefully we've inspired you to get crafty or maybe you need to dash out to the market
first to stock up on some scrumptious seasonal berries! Either way we can't wait
to see what fabulous creations you inspire us with this week.
Thanks as always for playing along and please try to visit a few of
your fellow Limettes to leave some friendly feedback.
