We would like to say a big welcome to all the new people who have just found our challenge and decided to join us... we are very glad to have you with us and hope that you will find "Less is More" an integral part of your crafting week.
Here we are again with your favourite of all our challenges... the wonderful
ONE LAYER CARD
This time we have the stipulation to
USE THREE STAMPS
not four, not two... but 3!
Mandi
Don't need to tell you how I did this!
Three stamps are the larger flower from Stampin UP 'Fruit & Flowers' the smaller is from 'Baroque Motifs' and the sentiment is Hobby Art 'Happy Birthday'
Colours are Versamark Black Onyx, which I stamped the HB first, then Stampin Up Pool Party and Melon Mambo for the flowers. Gems to finish. As I hadn't used one for a while I decided to add the crystal embellishment from Hobby House.

Here are two digital stamps from our sponsor this month, Arielle of the Wax Fruit Company. Aren't these poppy images simply stunning. They have been coloured with Promarkers and accompanied by a sentiment from a clear set by Imagine That purchased recently at Ally Pally.
A very simple one this time... just three stamps from a Hero Arts set, simply framed by an embossed oval Nestie.
We DO hope to see lots of white space this week, hopefully ours will inspire you.

What a brilliant challenge, so love your examples. Am off to Port Sunlight now - Happy stampers North West. Will try not to buy too many goodies. lol Should get some inspiration from there. Thank you both.

Oh that's a goodie! Hopefully some LIMettes will play along with us at St Luke's this week too as our month long One Layer seems to have frightened off all our normal players :(

Another fun challenge; thank you so much!! Sadly, I won't be able to do my usual visiting of all the other lovely links this time, and I'll miss next week altogether. I'm glad, though, that I got to play with this one and now I'd better get to packing! Take care and I'll see you in two weeks.
ReplyDeleteHi Mandy & Chrissie,
ReplyDeleteThe words on my card means a kind of: GET WELL SOON.
In the netherlands we say "van harte beterschap" when somebody is ill.
Next time i translate the words on my cards for you oke?
Hugs, Anita.
Many thanks for the translation Anita... it would be great to know in future too... thanks for the offer of translating your sentiments... Mr Google can translate the posts, but not the cards!
