Week 239 Lucky Dip

August is another 5 Saturday month and so this week
we have the pleasure of inviting a

Guest Designer
to join us!

This week our Lucky Dip Challenge is to use
Sprays/Mists

As you may realise, we like to ask regular contributors to our challenges
to take the Guest Spots and we are delighted that

has accepted our invitation!

For more details on Elaine's fabulous card and how she created it
please head over to her blog HERE

And here's what the Design Team created plus there could be more
on our personal blogs .... you'll just have to head across to find out!

Here is another card using last week's sketch. The background was made with
squished flowers from the garden. I place them between two pieces of card and
run them through my old Cuttlebug. (I use my old one as a lot of juice can come out
and make a bit of a mess of the machine). I scrape off the debris and leave the card to dry.
This was then spritzed with a little Cosmic Shimmer. The butterfly is from Memory Box
and the leaves from Wplus9. The sentiment is Hero Arts.

Sarah

I started out by embossing my 'sprayed' panel with a honeycomb
embossing folder before spritzing with a mix of Distress Ink re-inker
in Picked Raspberry and Perfect Pearls which adds a great shimmer.
The black frame is die-cut using MFT Die-namics Pierced Rectangles
and the horizontal strip with Mama Elephant Landscape Trio dies.
The flower head and sentiment are from a new (to me) set from Uniko:
Pure Florals - Chrysanthemum. The flower is heat embossed then water-coloured
using Zig Clear Brush pens and to finish a few pink shimmery sequins.

I started with a scrap of bright pink cardstock and laid a die cut heart,
using Love Hearts by Clearly Besotted, over the cardstock before spraying
with Cosmic Shimmer Mist in Pearl Mist.  Once dry I die cut it using
a Die-namics Pierced Square die.  To make the heart stand out
a little more I dotted around it using a silver Sakura Gelly Roll pen
to match the pierced edge and popped it up on 3D foam.
The sentiment from Clearly Besotted Love Blossoms was stamped in
Versa Color Opera Pink and a single gem added to the heart.

Anne may not manage to join us this week, as sadly, her mother died
very suddenly on Thursday last. We all send her our love and are thinking
about her at this difficult time.

We hope you enjoy our lucky dip challenge this week and can't wait to see
your creations. Please try to visit some fellow limettes to leave some
friendly feedback as we all love a comment!
