Anita here, and I'm taking the reins today to introduce the Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop, in which Altenew has kindly invited Less is More to take part. This is a monster blog hop so read on for all the info.

Onto a couple of cards I've made using a couple of gorgeous Altenew stamp sets, first up is Flower Vine...
On some blush cardstock I stamped one of the vines in a pale ink first before colouring with blush and soft green shades, and then re-stamped using my stamp positioner and heat embossed in white. The sentiment from the same set was stamped in Altenew Mountain Mist ink before die cutting and adhering the panel to the card base.
For my second card I used the Ditsy Print set...
On some die cut pale yellow cardstock I stamped this layering set using inks in Peach Perfect, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Frayed Leaf, Sweet Leaf and Forest Glades. The sentiment is from the Flower Vine set.

ReplyDeleteYour congratulations card is really pretty. I like the pale pinks and greens. Also, I am new to "challenge" blogs. Is is just about inspirational starting points for projects, or is there more to it?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Roxy. There are so many challenge blogs, some just for fun and some offer prizes. Some are weekly and some can be monthly. It lets us crafty types challenge ourselves with different themes, techniques, products, colours, sketch layouts, photo inspirations, etc. And some challenges have an 'Anything Goes' theme to just link up whatever you like. If you follow crafters' blog posts you will often see links to challenges they have entered. Obviously they are for inspiration too.

ReplyDeletecool, I couldn't make a dt card for AAA cards either, no Altenew products. Had a freebie once with a magazine it came, but I gave it away to someone who really wanted it and Maaike doesn't do layering that well ;-)
