Challenge #463 - One Layer Card

 Hey LIMettes!

We're back with our latest challenge which is a ONE LAYER CARD challenge -

To create a one layer card, you may only use the CARD BASE to stamp on and no other layers. Die cuts, embellishments, etc are not allowed.

To be eligible for showCASe and PRIZE WINNER choices you will need to carefully follow the guidance on our GLOSSARY OF TERMS and our HOW TO PLAY pages.Your design should feature lots of clean / white / blank / non patterned / non textured space.

Now let's see what fantastic inspiration the design team have created for you and please do check out their personal blogs if you have the time as there could be a couple of bonus cards there!

(taking a break)

Our Facebook page can be found HERE as well as our Instagram page HERE .

Our monthly showCASes and winners announcements will be in one bumper post here on the blog and it is posted on the Wednesday following closure of the last challenge in the month so keep visiting to see if you are one of our lucky entries!
  • New work only please.
  • Please also include large areas of CLEAR AND CLEAN space with NO PATTERN, NO INK and NO TEXTURE
  • No backlinks
Enjoy the challenge, keep those entries CAS and have fun!

  1. I'm a bit confused about the rules re embellishments. Your Glossary of Terms says One Layer Cards should have 'minimal embellishments' but the comment on my entry suggests I should have none. Could you clarify please?

    1. Hi Katrina. I am so sorry for the confusion. I have updated the glossary of terms to show that OLC's should NOT have embellishments.
I had also written the rules for the OLC challenge in red on the main blog post. I didn't realise the error on the other page. Thank you for your question.

Thank you for your support and encouraging messages. We love to see you on our personal blogs too.
