Hi there LIMettes it's time for our weekly ShowCASe post.
It was absolutely wonderful to see so many of you participating in our ombré challenge and you all totally rocked that one! It's never an easy job to select our favourites but we do love seeing
all your stunning takes on the challenge in our gallery each week.
So here goes with our choices, in order of entry for
Week #310 - Colour: Ombré
Cornelia
This gorgeous winter scene from Cornelia uses different colours of ink to make a stunning night sky in glowing purples and blues. The white silhouettes and expanse of white background keep it beautifully CAS and very striking. Great job, Cornelia!
Liz
Liz has taken a creative and highly effective approach by using shades of coloured card to create a dramatic ombre sky behind her hot air balloon. This simple scene packs loads of impact and is a great example of how well-thought out details can make all the difference in a CAS card. Well done Liz!
Hannelie
Hannelie's card had us all wowed. The neutral colour palette and delicate, elegant detailing look incredible - stylish, sophisticated and oh-so-pretty. Made using a 'leftover' frame, this card goes to show that us crafters never need to waste anything, and looking at uses for our stash can deliver stunning results!
